I mean what do you cow calf guys want? Like Garvo said, feeders being bought penciling at a $300 loss. Most cattle are unhedgeable. Beef is going to be too high for for the consumer to buy. I have a buddy who is a procurement guy for a feedlot in Kansas. He said there is a lot of red ink on cattle being killed now , purchased last fall. This deal needs a correction or buyers need to quit with the wreckless spending and buy cattle at a price that will pencil.




Corn isn't $8 feeders pencil just fine.
