Cherokee iowa
Lock the gates I say and look for more bleeding next week. I’m not a chartist but would think this cattle market is a dream trading. I am targeting 173 to hold if not 171 should. I’ll be going long call options maybe end of next week. Plans can change but this is mine as of now. Cash stronger this week then last at the barns locally. How many cow guys like 7% interest. Just don’t see the herd building with current situation. Almost as if we pulling everything we can to slaughter right now. Sooner or later the blow off top will come. This cattle market isn’t for the faint of heart. One needs conviction in what he does right or wrong. I don’t know if I’m getting older or the kegs are getting smaller. But the “grosbeak” will always be a grosbeak. Got 80 head weighing 1550-1700 ready whenever. Should of sold them all three weeks ago. So instead I bought some corn calls today in the June. Figured I can feed as long as they don’t want them. Godspeed it’s a battle
