Ouch that’s a big calf for a heifer. We like our ai calves so much I think our April bull needs will be marketed as bred heifers this next year. I hope the heifer calving gets easier for you.
Yep way too big for our heifers that probably weight tick over 1000. Didn’t do anything different other than bull choice. Grass hay all winter and a mile walk to the windmill. Pretty much lived with em for the week but should be about through first cycle. On the positive will have some nice cow bulls to pick from. Running 90% bulls on the ai heifers. |
