Tablerock Ranch eastern Wa
It SUCKS no doubt! Don't know how much milage they can get out of this black swan. I can feel the pain as much as many with 7 figures having to leave starting yesterday and running through May. WE have a CAT level LRP but that better not kick in or my jewels will be aching. The fed cattle numbers still aren't there long term, indicating this summer barring unrelated non market pressures, we should see far out months beat historically high months such as April as we witnessed last summer. We sell negotiated grid and expect the five area average which we are priced off of to be maybe two bucks lower for our cattle killed next week ? any big cash moves next week will probably cause us to hold off sending for a few subsequent weeks. Heifer numbers are still strong on feed so no real herd building yet ?
