I believe it is important to use a low setting or your 1 AMP NoCo when trying this trick. Don't get in a hurry and try to rush things by using a larger charger.
Yes, for anyone wanting to try this, I believe this is an important step not to overlook.
I stayed and kept checking with the multimeter, took less than 10 minutes to then be able to charge with the vehicle adapter.
