2400 ft. lbs? guess it's either gonna come off or twist off! I wonder where they get some of those ratings. Depending on how much you are going to use, consider tool weight also. Our IR is heavy to me after 10 lugs. See there are lighter models w/ as much torque, but $$ and longevity. Bought the IR as a factory reman. on e-bay. Don't remember price but has been good unit
