Alpena MI | Plasma cutter as the main cutting tool. A concrete grinding wheel or cut off wheel (like the picture) works very well for aluminum. A standard grinding wheel doesn’t work worth a hoot. I never tried to our metal blade cutting blade in our skill saw to cut aluminum, so I can’t say how that would work.
When working with aluminum, ALWAYS wear safety glasses when cutting or grinding. And wear a jacket with full length sleeves, you can thank me later.
