Please explain the purpose ? Beard all my lifeI don't understand what it is for.
I find that using some sort of beard oil or beard balm helps the beard feel fuller, not itch as much, and I can grow it longer without it looking straggly. Otherwise the split hair ends snag up on the comb terribly, and the individual hair strands break, leaving the beard a lot thinner than it could be.
Everyone's beards are different. Mine is naturally somewhat kinky, but can still be combed straight. Some folks have straight beard hair that doesn't need as much attention.
