nc ks | I just got an e-mail from my 'project manager' that for an additional $2500+ I can have my buildings tarped during shipment. If they tarp, they will have to send an additional truck, will charge me for the labor to tarp, and charge me for the tarp material. I am trying to cool down before i call her back. I need to find out if they deliver on their own trucks or if some third party shipper is trying to stick it to me. FWIW this is one of the largest steel panel manufacturing companies in the country and have a very large steel building distributing system under a few different names depending on their target customer. If I now decline to accept the offer to tarp (which is in writing with an approval signiture needed) will I be required to accept the building on delivery even if it has salt on it? | |
