Have mine on a 2wd 4640 using an Outback S2 and get along fine with it. Set the width for a little less than boom width and go. It also has the Outback “bang bang” steering valve on the tractor but have never been successful in getting it to function properly at spraying speeds. Have on the 4640 for all the same reasons you list.
