WC MN | Watched last total eclipse at Car Henge (look it up) in Alliance, Nebraska was en route to visit family so no big deal didn't even mind the $20 for parking in a pivot corner a local church was sponsoring. Aside from the unique phenomenon of standing in kind of twilight while the sun was shining in far distance, 20 miles maybe? The site was a bit like a fair going crowd with kids and smiles even a guy with high end gear inviting bystanders to look through his telescope for a better view. Fun way to spend some time. If weather looks to be clear it's worth a drive to see. | |
