Winkler, Manitoba Canada | Why were the CAV pumps so bad in the V8's when all of the other Perkins I have been around had them as well and functioned fine with them. Never owned a V8 but three sixes and now the last MF around at our place a 318 in a 1085. Out of those one pump on a turbo 354 needed to be rebuilt and one on a 372 needed to have some seals replaced. MF's lack of support over the years sure has hurt them in this area. I hope they can shake that legacy now with a good supporting dealer and what looks to be very good products. | |
