How did you connect your pump motor exhaust to the vent?
I just welded a piece of pipe to the muffler to extend it into the vent. The extension pipe is ~1" OD while the inside of the vent is 1.5" so there is no contact between them. I stuffed insulation in the space between the two so it seals up better.
