| We have run a 45' J&M Double Basket the last 2 years. I think it does a good job under normal conditions. It was a wet spring here, with some small (and large) wet spots....so you had to keep an eye out for the small ones to raise it, or spend a fair amount of time cleaning it out.
Our only complaint would probably be the basket bearings. We lost 3 bearings in our second year, so we replaced them all this winter. Most were a little loose / wobbly. Maybe that's normal life....this was our first double basket, so I just don't know.
We also have an unverferth double basket. It is an older one that seems to be less heavy duty. It sees less acres and only has 1 year on the basket bearings, so I'm not sure what to expect this year. | |
