Central Kansas | Unless there has been a change, hearing aids from the VA are tied to having a “service connected” injury or disability with hearing. Tinnitus counts if the genesis was service connected. I am service connected with hearing loss so qualify.
As for “not the best”, over the years I have been prescribed 4 sets. Oticon and ReSound were brands. I currently wear ReSound Enzo 88’s, a very top drawer set of hearing instruments. My facility is staffed with doctorate level audiologists and top quality instrumentation. Guess it may not be that way across the system. | |
