  | I am fairly new to the Carnivore Diet...  It is the strangest thing,    I eat a 12-14 ounce steak,  mid afternoon,   1 Steak/day.....  I never get hungry,  and I am dropping around 10 pounds/week,   I am 3 weeks in.     I assume at some point I am going to need more calories,  but so far I am loving it.   I feel so much better than  I used to......  I very much recommend giving it  a try...      I Think the key,  is that you are not making a lifetime commitment....  IF you don't like it,  you can switch back immediately...     
  
on cost:   I can stop by the meat market and grab a fresh steak,   run home an grill it,  for less $ than  a Burger, fries, and drink at a fast food burger joint....   Yeah, I have to cook it,    but just grilling  a steak with no sides is pretty easy.  and very little mess to clean up......
