Looking to buy a couple weaner pigs and raise them to fill all the freezers on the farm. What are the best breeds/crosses for marbling and fat in general? And what weight to butcher at? Don't like the lean pork that has been bred in the last 40 years...
Truth is no one breed is superior for meat quality....Feed , environment , size , full feed/limit feeding,ect. has more effect on the meat/marbling
