One thing I have heard many times now is that the Tic Tok platform is very different back in China. In China Toc Tok is full of educational material instead of stupid stunts and useless info like it is here. I certainly wouldn’t care if our version of Tic Tok was eliminated. We certainly won’t be losing anything of significant value.
The problem is that an outright ban on it sets a precedent and puts us on the slippery slope and we need to be very watchful for incremental creep of the rights to free speech.
It is highly likely that there is a much longer game plan at play here than we are being told. The public is thinking in terms of checkers when those controlling us are thinking in terms of chess.
