I’d take a roller any day over impeller. That being said, given good weather and dry air, I’m not sure I can tell a difference in either. I know the impeller will be cheaper to purchase.
If you’re chopping or wrapping, I’m not sure it would matter either way.
Seems like hay dries down from 85-40% moisture pretty easily and the last 20% is what takes a long time. At least here in the Hoosier state
