If you want to try cleaning up the paint a bit, I'd experiment with some acid to clean the rust without affecting the paint, wouldn't even have to use that tractor, find some similar old rusty painted metal and try different concentrations of ospho for different times, or just a rubbing compound and then figure out what sort of wax wouldn't look completely out of place to keep it from rusting much more. | |
