Have had 3 of them the last 14 years. Had cement chunk get stuck in first one and took the beater gears out. That was a 5290. Had a 3290 at same time, only basic difference was shear pin vs slip clutch. Both hauled a ton with very minor problems.

Have a 5440 now (3 years old) finally put a hole in the floor from loading on this one. Other than that only problem we have had on all of them is keeping the bolts tight that hold paddles onto the beaters.

Paddles seem to wear out quicker on the verticals and on the hagedorn the beater auger sticks out further than the paddle does. First one we had we had it worn down to the bolt hole so we cut the holes out and welded chunk of flat in .
