Pittsburg, Kansas | If you listen to Dr Paul Mason he does not think the Omega 6 in itself is a problem. He thinks it is the oils that have double bonds and oxidize that are the health problem.
Is he right? I don't know. But I think he makes valid points and is a potential consideration.

He says it is the oxidation that is the real problem. And as long as a person is eating fats in meat protein we are ok because we don't eat rancid meat. So the fats in meat, Omega 3 or 6, will not be oxidized. | |
