mindeere - 3/9/2024 08:13 Tell me about your DDG bin. I put my in a gravity wagon and they bridge something terrible. I’d like to set a tank and auger to my mixer but am afraid I’d have to fight them every day.

The DDGS bin is just a big old Behlen bin I bought on an auction.    Has a custom made boot on the bottom with a 8" auger stuck in it.

We've done DDGS in a wagon in the past.   That was awful.      It comes out of a feed bin 100x better than a gravity wagon.

Gravity wagons slopes are too flat and have too many corners for using them for ground feed or feed ingredients.    Feed bins are steeper and a round cone bottom doesn't have any corners.
