| If its 3pt it is a 6700.
6200 is a pull type front fold.
They are good planters. I've never used a 6700 but we've been planting with a 6100 (vertical fold/pull type) for the past 17 yrs and have had very few problems.
Meter maintenance is minimal compared to a finger pickup. If you use round corn seed they will plant as good or better than any planter currently in production if the brushes are in good shape. Flat seed they can plant decent but it takes a lot more effort to get it right than it does for rounds. | |
