So I take it your simple drill does not have swath control??
All on or all off on the seed. No sections. Liquid fertilizer is 5 sections all run by Trimble Field IQ. That is our swath control.
Just like most simple drills. Case and Deere had shown no interest at the time to equip the drills from the factory for liquid fertilizer. Hate to buy the sectional rollers and manifold to put into the airstream on their drills only to be pulled off and modify the air manifolds when nothing is there. Hopefully their systems change to allow what farmers are actually using across the country. Again nobody runs dry fertilizer in their drills in 3 states so not like it is a real small area. Horsch has stepped up and addressed a simple drill. |
