So why did Steiger quit making their big hp units in the 80s and early 90s? As well as Versatile stopped production of their 1150/1156?
They didn't sell but a handful of the late model big horse units. VERY few 1156's and Red Tiger's were sold. They were expensive, and the people that needed them already had them, and didn't need to replace them.
Prom about 1993-2003, 425-435hp was the big unit.
