| I have heard about some of the huge wheat fields here and there but where I live there is a road every mile and a lot of farms have terraces or waterways that run at angles.Last year I had just got the ends done on an 80 acre field with my 12 row planter when a neighbor pulled into a 80 acre field nearby that had terraces and contours and started with his 24 row planter.I was on the last round when he left his field.If it took him 3 hours with equipment twice as big to do what I did in 4 hours,how much is there to gain by going to 48 row planters. Maybe 2 350-400 horse 8rs would get more done than 1 30 horse 9r.
