New London, Wisconsin | It could be a maintenance flight where there are no passengers. Coming out of a C check for example. There are a lot of systems to verify before it goes back on the line for revenue flights. We see a lot of Gulfstreams flying test flights in my area as they finish out the interiors and paint near me, and then test fly them some more. The airframes are assembled in Savanah which is where they fly first. Those planes might have 100 hours on them before getting delivered as new. Same is true of airliners. It's not like the car industry.
If it were a real emergency it would have landed.
