Oh really? Most base machines of decent size were from $80-100,000 mid eighties. Corn loan rate was $2.56, iirc. Now figure out how many bushels of corn you produced did it take to buy the machine needed to harvest those bushels. And you’re gonna try and convince me “This ain’t any different”? I don’t know any other way to make a proper comparison to then and now than what I just stated. If you have a better way, I’m all ears.
