I know from talking with landowners, there's an awful lot of high dollar rent out there. $300-$450/acre are what some have said. Quite the range. But some have been locked in on 2-3 year contracts, and this is the 2nd or 3rd year of the high dollar, and landowners aren't budging on them. Profits made last year, will be wiped out this year on those rent numbers. | |
