I wouldn’t go anything smaller than a d11 cat.
When I was doing construction the project managers and fleet guys who send us dozer and ask is that big enough? My answer was always if drop the blade in the ground and the earth stops spinning then it’s big enough! That being said I’ve seen seasoned guys do more with a 450 than a novice could do with a d8
