| A year ago I had the battery replaced on my 7+ for the same reasons and I rarely need to have the latest/greatest of anything anyway.
It was working well until the speaker for hearing a phone call broke and that takes a whole screen assembly to fix it. My iPhone guy had a hard time finding one for an 8+, and said I should put my money towards a newer model.
After failing to find a cheap used phone near me, I bought a NEW 13 with 256K memory and it has been working great. One nice thing is that the speakers are louder for streaming the radio when I'm outside.
Of course, the old 7+ is still being used as needed on wi-fi. | |
