NC Iowa | I was in the Navy for four years, but never was on a ship. I was a computer geek, and they wanted me doing that work.
Sandy and I traveled to long beach California to see the USS Iowa. It is on display there at San Pedro as a museum ship and open to the public. A very impressive ship, and a memorable trip.
As a bonus, we stayed on the ship Queen Mary. Also at long beach.
