100 miles north of the NYC crapper | Saw this. Interesting concept. The engine was way forward with the radiator just in front of the cab. It said there was a reduction in noise but They couldn’t overcome vibrations from the driveshaft used to connect the engine and transmission. There wasn’t any mention of what transmission was in it. I think this was 1977 so chances were it was still the 2 range 4 speed with the TA. Purely speculation on my part. |
