Here is my point.

Inflation in 2021 was 4.7%, 2022 was 8.0%, and 2033 was 3.4% for a total of 16.1%. These are year over year and there has been no deflation.

In the same timeframe, wage increase was 4.5% in 2021, 5.1% in 2022, and 4.3% for 2023 for a total of 13.9%.

You tell me how great things are using these numbers instead of a static number.
