NW Wisconsin | Our youngest daughter lives there and we have been there many times.
I would tour the USS Midway, visit Old Town San Diego, Balboa Park, the San Diego Zoo, Sea World, and Coronado Island. There is a great park with a scenic overlook at the end of Point Loma that overlooks Coronado Island and the Navy Base. It is a National Park entrance and you drive through a military cemetery. If you are interested in baseball there is the most scenic ballpark in the U.S. on the Point Loma Church of the Nazarene Campus. It overlooks the Pacific Ocean.
Places to eat- go to Ho Dads in Ocean Beach. It has been on Triple D’s many times, Miguel’s or Mitch’s in Point Loma, C Level Lounge on Harbor Island with the marina and boats, Gas Lamp District has many good places to eat.
You will find lots of interesting places to go but be prepared to drive fast. Good drivers but a lot of traffic | |
