A good parameter is semi trucks on the road. Things pretty good here. Miejer very very busy. I have a neighbor I hire to pickup and deliver equipment to big or too far to do myself. 2 years ago I was paying $7 mile. Just hauled a tractor last week for me I sold, $3.50 mile. Exactly half. So the fat profits the trucking industry enjoyed have crashed back to earth, obviously more trucks/drivers available for the smaller and smaller number of loads available. |
