S Illinois | Do you have a nearly risk free way to price and insure production that far out? If you don’t one real cannot be bullish or bearish 2030 corn price as there is no market to value it yet.
This is the opposite of the unpriced 2023 crop. There is a nearly risk free mechanism to price that grain. So if not pricing by very definition one is either irrational/illogical or believes price is going up. Otherwise why wait to sell? Hope is a bullish sentiment for a producer. | |
