| I’ve been thinking the same thing here. I talked with a guy from Sioux County about a field by him where part of it got 3” of rain while the other part got 1.5”. He said that extra 1.5” gave 25 more bushel per acre. The last couple summers we have been short on rain. If the majority of the Midwest gets close to ideal growing conditions I think the yield would be scary.
Edit: I think corn yield would be scary. Soybean yield probably not as big.
