| It's a 1/3 mile track. Small but wide. Lots of three and four wide wide open super fast racing. The background is a gypsum pile. They have told me its used to settle out heavy metals. There's a fertalizer plant nearby and they pump the water slurry to the top and the heavy stuff settles to the bottom and they reuse the water. I'm not sure but thats what I've been told. I looked on google earth and there are several of them in this area and they are huge ( look to be @ 50 acres each ). I ask the question why didn't someone use this gypsum for agriculture (peanuts or just calcium) and was told it's not fit to use because of the heavy metals. I'm not sure what heavy metals are or what they do but it's not used for anything. | |
