NC Iowa | it is about a 2 hour drive from us. We had planned to visit for Sunday service sometime. Since that won't happen now, i wonder if anyone is from the area, or maybe a member? I would be interested in hearing about the congregation and community. My great grandfather, and his brother Mekke came to this area in 1892. Mekke was the first pastor the newly formed German Baptist Church there, later went to Aplington Iowa to pastor. His brother Garrlet bought the farm i live on in 1882. They are both buried at Aplington.
