Actually here the scrap at $90 a ton is relevant comment.
Don't get me wrong, I like those Massey tractors.
HIs point probably is if you get it home and it turns ugly, it is worth scrap value.
That is also likely the only competition when purchasing a tractor like you describe.
I am picturing a rough tractor.
I think a decent one will bring about 5,000 here, so $3,000 would not be a buy. If the tractor is real nice than that is different of course.
I’d offer fifty a ton so I could cover the transport costs and that’s generous |
