Those were good old tractors but I would find one in better shape that being said. If its just a head gasket that is not a big deal. But it more than likely will turn into a can of worms. Are the tires good do the hydraulics work . The best test on those is run the tractor at 1500 or 1600 RPMs. At the same time turn the steering raise the three point and step on the brake. If they all three work at the same time hydraulics are pretty good. good luck
