Wyoming | Looking at a 1973 MF 1135 for sale, pretty cheap. Has a DU-AL 3600 loader. Probably wouldn't use the loader much if at all, and it's missing the tilt cylinders. It's pretty rough, going to need new rear tires soon, and the cab rebuilt. 5400 hours, the owner says there is compression getting into the cooling system. No coolant in the oil.
Would it most likely be just a head gasket? How hard would that be to replace myself?
He is asking 3k for it. JD guy here, so no experience with these machines; their flaws, quirks, etc.
Can post some pictures if anyone is interested. | |
