NE ND | Boy and I snowmobiled 40 miles here on October 27th. We had 12-16 inches of snow in one blast. The snow was phenomenal. We put 40 miles on one Sunday until he plowed it into the cattails and broke off the throttle digging it out. I told him we are doing this once in our lives in October! I'm glad we went, only ride we have had all year!
Edit: and last winter was the best I've seen in 47 years. White fluff anywhere you wanted to go. The fields stayed soft and fairly smooth. We'd ride 100-120 miles on a Sunday. It was a great year.
