Ottawa,ON Canada | We put the Blue Ink ones on 2 trucks. One is a 3 axle, the other is 4 axle. They work pretty well so far. Just got them installed near end of harvest. They show the psi of each one beside the weights. They are reading to 2 decimal places, so pretty hard to get an air gauge that would be more accurate. They recommend extending the trailer sensor up to the front so you can always get the reading. I didn’t bother, and put them at the lift axle control box. Can read from the cab. Seems to be +-300kg at the most. It estimates front axle load based off your calibration. I did my calibrations at a CAT scale. Was trying to calibrate at an elevator scale, but it wants front axle, drives, trailer entered separately and that was not a perfect scenario coming up/down the approach to the elevator scales. Only annoying thing with the BlueInk app is it’s designed to track hours and inspections, which I didn’t want. Got a bunch of that turned off in the settings, but still get errors on the home page about hours not entered. | |
