Bought a 92 Chevy 1 ton 4X4 That had the front torsion bars cranked up so it sat level. It had a nasty rumble in the front driveline. Noticed that with the front end up like that, the front CV joints ran at a terrible angle.
I could see that that much angle on the CV joints was going to wear them out quickly. I cranked the front down to stock specs, the front driveshafts run straight and the front rumble is gone.
