Lancaster County, Pa. | I have a 5240 with 10,000 hrs and a 5130 that was turboed to make it a 5140. Engine is pretty bulletproof. Reversible pto shaft is a weak spot. Granted, I'm flipping mine almost every time I hook to a different implement and use the pto a lot but that is a common issue. Check the one your looking at for oil leaking at the pto. Other issues are parking brake (on 4wd models requires splitting the tractor to replace) and shift solenoids can be an issue. Overall a good tractor
