Northwest Iowa | I am a young buck in this game and will be the first to state I had no dog in the fight with high interest rates back yonder. But saying that is their a need to cut rates? Are current rates that high that people can’t make payments or obtain loans? Obviously every bodies situation is different but I just don’t think cutting rates is a good thing. Keep it higher so we can encourage some saving and people questioning if they need to be buying x purchase.
I don’t know maybe I’m the oddball but these rates and maybe even higher can/will/should make people better managers of money. yes I freaking hate paying my op note interest bill but it has made me use my head and take emotion out of it on grain inventory. | |
