Is there type of bit or attachment for a drill that will shave off the worn threads and then I can run the next size smaller die over it? I have several disk spindles on an old Salford that are so worn the nuts don't stay tight. I'm concerned that if I grind the threads off it won't ge perfectly round for the die?
